The Illinois Radiological Society (IRS) is soliciting abstracts for the 2008 Steven M. Pinsky M.D. Resident Research Award, a $1,000 cash prize awarded to a radiology or radiation oncology resident or fellow for an outstanding research paper presented at the IRS Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held March 15, 2008, at the Feinberg Pavilion Conference Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The purpose of the award is to encourage radiology and radiation oncology members-in-training to do research; to enhance the academic careers of radiology residents; and to promote the inter-institutional exchange of information. Abstracts must be submitted online. Abstracts submitted may have been previously presented at other radiology or radiation oncology meetings. However, abstracts submitted must be in the presentation given at the IRS Meeting. The deadline for submitting an abstract is January 21, 2008. A committee will select papers worthy of presentation at the IRS Annual Meeting and also select the award winner. The winner of the IRS Resident Research Award will receive a $1,000 cash award. Additionally, residents and fellows selected to present papers will receive a certificate of merit from the Illinois Radiological Society. Please click below to continue: |
