Communicating with members and other affiliated audiences is important for the viability of an organization. Membership dollars requires benefits returned but benefits are not always easily recognizable at the grass roots level. Communicating with members directly though mail, email or through an active web site or indirectly through the public media gives members and others a means to judge the effectiveness of their membership dollars. Depending on the type of association it is, an effective communications program adds credibility and merit to its arguments.
Bacon-Hedland will provide the following services…
- Develop and maintain a communications program for members and other audiences that the client wishes to reach. This includes production of newsletters and maintaining the web site.
- Coordinate mailing and distribution of announcements, brochures and other materials.
- Develop a descriptive theme and design a logo or graphic which can be carried through on all print pieces and in the decorations for an Annual Meeting.
- Supervise the design and development of promotional program and printed conference and exhibitor related materials for advance and on-site utilization. This could include Calls for Abstracts, announcements and invitations, the Exhibitor Prospectus and Service Kits, the Registration/Housing Brochure, on-site Program or Proceeding, newsletters and related support documents.
- Design and implement a media relations program to place articles of current interest to the public in newspapers and magazines and to solicit follow-up interest from writers.
