Financial management is the foundation of a not-for-profit association. Maintaining a strong financial base offers opportunities to pursue issues and activities important to the advancement of the profession and accurate record keeping creates mileposts for determining the success or failure of an activity. The regulatory restrictions on some not-for-profits also require stringent controls on programs and operations.
Bacon-Hedland will provide the following services…
- Maintain the bank and investment accounts for client finances. Invoice for accounts receivable and issue checks for accounts payable.
- Monitor and manage the merchant numbers for the client to accept credit card payments.
- Assist the officers to prepare annual budgets for the client and its programs and monitor revenue and expenses as it compares to forecast.
- Secure periodic audits or reviews of the client accounts and financial operations.
- Work with the officers on reporting and accountability.
